Meet Craig Reeves, APRN
Craig Reeves, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, ONP, CRNFA, is an experienced advanced practice provider specializing in orthopedic care at the Louisville Institute of Orthopaedics. Working alongside Reid Brown, M.D., Craig plays a vital role in the practice’s patient-centered approach to joint replacement and orthopedic trauma care.
With a strong background in surgical and emergency nursing, along with advanced orthopedic training, Craig provides comprehensive, individualized care throughout every stage of treatment and recovery. He is committed to helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy most.
Craig earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Troy University and completed his Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Certificate at Duke University, one of the nation’s premier medical institutions. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, along with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Professional Biology and General Chemistry from the University of North Alabama. In addition, Craig completed Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) training through the National Institute of First Assisting.
Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Craig also holds certification as a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) and specialized orthopedic training. His clinical expertise includes joint replacement and orthopedic trauma care, allowing him to support patients through both surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
At the Louisville Institute of Orthopaedics, Craig performs patient evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans, assists in surgical procedures, and guides patients through recovery and rehabilitation. His approach combines advanced orthopedic knowledge with compassionate, personalized care tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle.
Outside of work, Craig enjoys golfing, traveling, and actively participating in church and community activities. His goal is simple: to help patients return to their passions with confidence and improved mobility.
