Louisville Institute of Orthopaedics has been named a regional winner in the 2026 Best of Kentucky awards, the annual community-voted program run by The Guide to Kentucky. The awards recognize businesses and care providers across the state in categories spanning healthcare, industry, and lifestyle.
A Recognition Rooted in Patient Care
This award reflects what happens in our exam rooms and operating rooms every day, not just in a ballot count. Patients come to us after joint replacements, sports injuries, and other orthopaedic conditions looking to move and live without pain, and that outcome is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Staff. From scheduling and front-desk coordination to surgical teams and post-op follow-up, the people behind the scenes are why care here feels different.
Community. Word of mouth and local support brought new patients through our doors this year, and we don’t take that trust lightly.
What This Means Going Forward
A regional win doesn’t change our approach; it confirms it. We’ll keep refining surgical outcomes, shortening recovery timelines where we can, and treating each patient’s mobility as the priority it is.
